Uncle Greg is the best. You can tell he loves his restaurant. The line is worth it!! I promise. Because once you order (cafe style, preorder and then sit), your food comes to you fast. It’s authentic Filipino breakfast/brunch food. The ube pancake is so rich, so delicious. I always get the combo silog with the garlic rice, it comes with eggs, longanisa (Filipino sausage), pork chops and a lumpia (authentic lumpia, I’m sure it’s house made). You’ll definitely feel like you’re at your cousin’s house for breakfast, because Greg always has a smile and will come to your table to say hi.

Hands down, one of the best breakfast spots I've ever been to. My husband says that the ube pancakes changed his life. And this went down as my death row meal. being Filipino, this felt like a home away from home with the combo meal. The rice was perfectly cooked, the sausages were delicious, lumpia amazing, loved the addition of the melon as a side. We also got POG and the butter mochi which was also SO good. I make mochi probably once a month and it does not even kinda compare to what we had at Ludi’s! Service was great, the line was well worth it, it felt like having a bunch of Filipino grandpas walking around checking up on us. Amazing experience!

Ludi’s is hands down one of the best spots in Seattle! The food is incredible — full of flavor, comforting, and truly one of a kind. You honestly can’t find anything like this anywhere else in the city. What makes the experience even better is the service. The entire staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The owner himself goes above and beyond — he personally walks around to check on every table, making sure everyone’s enjoying their meal. You can really feel how much he cares about each customer, and that kind of genuine hospitality is so rare these days. Yes, there might be about an hour wait, but it’s totally worth it. Once you take your first bite, you’ll understand why everyone keeps coming back. Ludi’s is a true Seattle gem — amazing food, warm service, and a passionate owner who makes every visit special.

This place easily ranks among my favorite spots for breakfast. Every dish bursts with rich flavor and is prepared with amazing care. The staff is incredibly kind and the service is quick, which made the visit even better. Even though the wait was a little long, the meal was so good that it felt completely worth it. I cannot wait to come again.

This place was recommended to us by several of our friends who have been or previously lived in Seattle prior to us visiting, so it was already high on our must-visit places. If you are looking for a great Filipino restaurant in the downtown Seattle area, this is one place you have to eat at. The portions were massive...so much so that I think for some of the dishes like the combo-silog they should advertise that one plate is enough for two people. It seems that everything to include the lumpia is made in-house. If you are there and can't decide on what to get, I recommend the combo-silog since it's almost like a sampler platter of the typical silog (egg to order and garlic fried rice) with two types of longinosa (pampanga and ilocos style), and fried pork chop, and lumpia. My family went through all the dishes pictured (including some that weren't like the loco moco and French Toast, including my youngest who is the picky eater in the family. There was not a single thumbs down in any of the dishes with their massive portions that we ordered. I'm just glad we didn't order the halo halo as we found out afterwards that it is made as a shareable portion (supposed to serve about three). We are planning on trying that on our visit here again before we fly out as well as their signature ube pancakes, so expect an update to this review. Great food is made even better with great service, and the staff here is amazing. We even had the current owner, "Tito" Greg, stop by, and he was very down to earth and spent a decent amount of time talking with us and making us feel very welcome. The rest of the staff was very accommodating as well, and it truly felt like I was dining at a relative's place. The place is decorated with a lot of moment O's covering the history and evolution of Ludi's from when it was first called Turf, and lots of pictures of the family who founded the restaurant. I echo the folks who have previously recommend this place and can't recommend it enough! Depending on when you go, the line can be daunting as you order before you are seated, but despite how small the place seems, they seated my family of five relatively quickly (just don't be surprised if you are sharing a table with others, but it's a great way to make new friends). We are definitely coming back during this visit and future trips to Seattle!

From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful. What truly made this restaurant experience amazing was the owner Tito Greg! As soon as we were walking to our table, Tito Greg gave us a huge smile. He came and welcomed us and we ended up having a truly heartwarming conversation with him and he told us his life story. He is such a genuine and true kind hearted soul! He even gave us some free treats. Not only was the food amazing but so was the hospitality. It felt like I walked into someone’s home to eat. It was so comforting. This is my new favorite restaurant and I will be coming very often. I would recommend it highly to anyone! ❤️
